MEET the ARTIST

Anna Jarrell is an artist based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Employing a variety of mediums, her work blends classical fine art techniques with a contemporary vision that results in evocative pieces that complement diverse design aesthetics and connect with clients on a deeply personal level.

    Aside from being a highly skilled artist, Anna has a remarkable ability to capture the spirt of the portrait subject.  Even if she hasn’t had the opportunity to meet or know the individual subject, she engages with you to gather context and/or other images as to best capture the personality and features of the individual.

    We have had the district honor to work with Anna four times. Each portrait is unique and distinctly realistic.  At the beginning of the commissioning process Anna collects information about the subject, the setting for the image, reference of what the Commissioner is looking for and what up front alterations to the image are requested. This typically lays the ground work for an excellent start, however if changes are needed Anna is both flexible but will make suggestions on how best to proceed.

    Commissioning any art is a leap of faith, but I have never felt stranded working with Anna through the process.  We have not only recommended Anna to friends, but we are repeat customers, which speaks for itself!
